So it’s a been quite a while since I blogged. School has been crazy. Really crazy. I started the semester with only three classes when I needed four. So now I have math, English, chemistry and accounting. Extremely heavy course load. I haven’t had any time to actually sit down and relax at all, it’s been homework homework homework nonstop. And I think I’ve gotten stupider this year xD. I’m doing really badly in all of my classes and I’m pretty sure it’s because I’ve become dumber. What a great year to fail huh, last year of high school, the only year that universities care about. Whoopee.
Plus. I’m sick. I hate being sick. Everyone at school is sick and it’s just a matter of time until I got it. And it was today. Thiiiiiiiiis sucks.
I have a feeling this is going to be a very bad year.
There’s only 2ish weeks left of summer vacation. How can that be? I haven’t done anything and it’s almost over already? I hate this. Personally, I think there should be 2 months of summer vacation and 2 months of winter vacation because really, 2 weeks for Christmas AND New Years is simply not enough. Anyways, I had to force myself to blog again because my life is so boring that nothing is worth writing about. I hope I’ll pick it up again once school starts. I’m really nervous, next year is my last year of school. That means I have to start applying to universities and stuff. Right now, I only have UBC in mind because there’s just something about SFU that I hate and I’m not leaving the province or country. I wanted to go into commerce but I read that even if you have a really high average, you might not get in if you don’t have enough extra curricular activities…and that means me. I’ve volunteered a few times but I’ve never had a job nor have I ever been on a sports team. So now I’m considering Japanese but I’m so confused about the wording of everything on the website that I have no idea what I need and stuff. Anyways, I hope all goes well next year. I’m really dreading the Graduation Transition Program and the presentation that comes with it. Gahh. I will return all comments soon. Please vote!
As you can see from the title, my summer has been very boring. Basically, I get up at 9ish, watch a little TV, eat lunch, go on the computer/make company website for my dad, eat dinner, watch TV, shower & sleep. Yes, that’s how I’ve been spending my days for the past month. Speaking of which, July is almost over. Ohmy. Usually by this time, I’d be worrying about how I’m going to bring all the stuff that I bought back to Canada but this year, I haven’t bought anything. Zeeeero. I know, shocking. It’s mostly because my grandpa’s here though. We can’t leave him at home alone for a long time so someone always has to stay home with him, thus no shopping for me. But it’s okay because personally, I think things this year are really ugly. Eh. I still have August. :) Boo. I keep commenting on other people’s sites but they don’t return comments. :( Ecstasy’s dying. Ahh. Oh well, I won’t give up, there’s bound to be some decent people who return comments. :D Vote for me please! ~
I’m back from my busy two weeks. :) It was actually pretty fun and not that tiring. So the trip. On the first day, we drove from Taichung to Tainan and went to Chi Mei Museum. It was okay, kind of boring but yeah. Then we drove to Kaohsiung and looked at my Dad’s new company (not the one with the grand opening, another one). It was sort of like a rest stop since we did nothing. x) At last, we checked in the Splendor hotel. I think it’s the tallest hotel in Taiwan, with 85 floors. My favorite part was the buffet breakfast haha. Second day, we had a lot planned but didn’t get to most of it due to lack of time. We only stopped at this meatball…bread…shop thing in Hualien…because it’s supposedly well-known for it. xD Then we drove to our hotel, Far Glory, and ohmy, it was so cool. It’s built on a mountain so it’s like, on a slant and it’s built like a castle! :o It was so hard to drive up there because of the winding roads but it was fun. In front of it was an amusement park that was SO HUGE and also castle-like. It was a cool hotel. :) Third day was the ‘funnest’; we went whale-watching but we only saw dolphins haha. We went on this big boat and the waves were huge so I got totally soaked but it was so fun. There were so many dolphins as well and they were just swimming alongside us. However, fun came with a price. My head got totally sun burnt so now it’s red and so painful. Ow. I wore a hat but it was too windy so it kept flying off so I just took it off. Big mistake. Ouch. That was in Hualien as well and then we drove to our hotel in Yilan. Fourth and last day, we drove through the longest tunnel in Taiwan connecting Yilan with Taipei. It took about 11 minutes. Then we went to Taipei 101, the tallest building IN THE WORLD. Well, I think it’s the 2nd now because of the stupid building in Dubai (no offense xD) but oh well, that building’s not done yet so I’m still going to say 101 is #1. :D Anyways, we went up to the 89th floor on the fastest elevator in the world, traveling like 1000something km in 37 seconds. Everything looked tiny from up there. x) We also went outside on the 91st floor but we couldn’t really see anything. We also walked down to the 88th floor and looked at, I think one of the biggest, dampers. (They’re the thing that “absorbs” earthquakes so the building doesn’t shake as badly.) Then we had lunch and we all went home, for my family, it was back to Taichung. :D There you go, my trip in a nutshell, if anyone cares.
It’s finally summer and I’m already back in Taiwan. I finished my provincial on the 20th and was on the plane the night of. Everything is so rushed because we have so much to do before the end of June/beginning of July. 23rd (the day after I arrived) - My family and I went to this temple for a last, I don’t know what you call it so I’m going to say “thing”. I was so tired and I almost fainted because we had to stand still for over an hour. o_O 25th (today in Taiwan, tomorrow in Canada) - The grand opening of my dad’s new company (a branch) and so we had to get up at 5 AM to get all ‘prettified’. 29th ~ 2nd - My entire family on my dad’s side is going on a road trip across Taiwan. :) I hope it’s fun but I know it’s going to be so hot and exhausting. I hate to say it, but I’m not looking forward to it. x_x So there it is. My entire summer all crammed in two weeks. I think I’m still suffering from jet lag so I hope that goes away soon. How is everyone’s summer so far? :D

The hotel that day was really awesome too. It was like a Japanese-styled room…with TWO FLOORS and a hot tub thing. It was amazing. :)
